Customized glasses once finalized its very difficult to add any changes and cancellation no longer possible.

Yes—some styles are. Many of our optical frames and sunglasses are offered in more than one size.

When you’re browsing the frame galleries, use the “Width” filters on the left-hand sidebar to check whether the styles you like come in multiple sizes. If a frame is available in different widths, the product page will display those options, and you’ll be able to select your preferred width before proceeding to checkout.

If you don’t see multiple widths listed for a particular style, that model is currently offered in a single size. For extra clarity while browsing, you can also review the measurements on the product page or reach out via chat—we’re happy to help you find the right width.   • Pupil position: Your pupils should sit close to the center of each lens.
  • Lens width: The lenses shouldn’t extend past the sides of your face.
  • Brow line: Your eyebrows should not sit inside the frame area.
  • Smile test: When you smile, your cheeks shouldn’t push the frames up.
  • Nose fit: The frames shouldn’t slide down your nose during normal movement.

If you find a frame you love but it doesn’t fit quite right, the following can usually be corrected with a quick, professional adjustment:

  • Behind-the-ear fit: Frames that feel too tight or too loose around the ears.
  • Temple length: Temples that are too long or too short for your anatomy.
  • Temple pressure: Temples that pinch or feel loose at the sides of your face.
  • Alignment: Frames that are crooked or slide down on your face.

Step 2 – Complete the four-part customization form

1. General
At the top of the form you will find two fields designed to capture your style preferences. You can either:
Upload one or more reference files (images, mood boards, PDFs, etc.) that illustrate the look you want, or
Type your preferences directly into the text box provided.
Feel free to use one option or both—whatever conveys your vision most clearly.

2. Frame
Color – Select a frame color from the drop-down list, or input a custom color code using the built-in color-picker.
Material – Choose your preferred frame material. If you select gold or silver, please specify the exact number of grams you would like incorporated.
Shape – Pick a shape from the list, or launch the virtual try-on tool to see which design fits you best. Once you decide, take a screenshot of the result and upload it in the space provided.
Size & PD – Select your frame size and enter your pupillary distance (PD) so that we can ensure perfect optical alignment.

3. Leg
Color – Choose one or more leg colors from the list, or enter a custom color code via the color-picker.
Material – Select the material for the legs. If you opt for gold, silver, or gem-set detailing, indicate the number of grams required.
Shape & Extras – Pick a shape for the legs and upload any additional reference files (design sketches, inspiration photos, etc.) that describe special preferences.

    Once your prescription is on file, reach out via live chat or email optelux@optelux.com. Let us know the model you own and the lens type you’d like (single-vision, progressive, blue-light filter, sun-adaptive, etc.). We’ll guide you through shipping and next steps.

How to Get Started

  • No-Scratch Guarantee (First 12 Months):
    If your lenses become scratched within one year of purchase, we’ll replace them free of charge.
  • Standard Pricing After 12 Months:
    Outside the guarantee window—or if you’re switching to a different lens type—replacement costs match our regular lens prices. Exact fees depend on the material, coatings, and enhancements you select.

Prescription glasses or sunglasses: You’ll need a valid eyeglasses prescription (meaning: done by a specialist, upload the sight test is mandatory, within six months, and all values are visible). For more about sending us your prescription, click here!

  • Psst. Based on your prescription, we may also need your pupillary distance (PD). Learn more about measuring your PD here.
  • Once you have your PD, you can either hand-write it onto the copy of your prescription before submitting it to us, or you can send it to us at optelux@optelux.com from the email address you used to place your order.

    • Specialty contact lenses, including toric lenses (if your contacts help to correct for astigmatism) and made-to-order lenses (eg. Biofinity XR, Proclear XR) may take longer to arrive.

  • All other products (including Home Try-Onorders, Accessories, and gift cards): 7 business days
  • E-gift cards: Within an hour of ordering, E-gift cards scheduled for future delivery will be sent on the morning of the requested date.

Note: Orders shipping outside the continental U.S. can take a few extra days to arrive.
